Today we mourn the loss of a true American hero.
Our honorary Patriots Fest leader, Richard “Dick” Miller, passed away at 99 years old. A Navy veteran who served in WWII aboard the USS Drexler, Dick survived one of the deadliest kamikaze attacks of the war, struggling to stay above water and lived to share his powerful story with us last spring. He didn’t just speak, he sang, smiled and brought history to life for all who attended. He told us show your patriotism by flying a flag.

We were honored to call him our guest, our friend, and our inspiration.

Fair winds and following seas, sailor.
Your legacy lives on in the hearts of all who heard your story.

Rest in peace, Dick Miller.
America thanks you.

Today, we remember the innocent lives lost and the heroes who gave everything on September 11th, 2001. In the face of unimaginable tragedy, countless brave souls ran toward danger to save others. Their courage, their sacrifice, and the memories of those we lost will live on in our hearts forever. We honor them today and always. 🇺🇸❤️

Today is the day that the earliest of Patriots fought to establish our amazing nation. To all the patriots both past and present, thank you for your service and remember one thing. Without patriots, this country would cease to exist. A patriot is not limited to somebody who wears a uniform, its also somebody who believes in this country and places it first and foremost. As we wrap up an incredible event, we just want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who joined us at this year's Patriots Fest.

It was a day filled with unity and seeing so many of you come together in support of our veterans was truly inspiring. We are proud to be part of such a wonderful community and honored to stand with all of you in supporting those who have served our nation.

Thank you for showing what we can achieve when we come together for a great cause. We look forward to seeing you all again next year!
