A week later, and we’re still glowing. ✨🎨

Colfax Canvas 2026 is officially in the books — and what a celebration of art and community it was. Huge congrats to every artist, volunteer, and business who helped make this happen and put their heart into this neighborhood.

This whole thing started with a simple idea: beautify our streets and give local artists a place to leave their mark. Six years (and countless cans of paint) later, we’ve added 39 murals to East Colfax — including 2 brand new ones this year — plus 9 music artists who brought the sound across ACAD .

East Colfax has so much heart, talent, and character to offer, and we’re endlessly grateful to be part of a neighborhood that shows up like this.
Thank you, artists. Thank you, Aurora. 🧡

Zurdo (Bryan Ortega - Bryan Ortega) started a new chapter in Colorado a year ago and has fallen right into Aurora’s art scene, tattooing at ACAD’s Love Always Destroys Hate (L.A.D.H TATTOOS ). Now he’s making an even bigger mark as one of the Colfax Canvas 2026 muralists!

Welcome Gus Rey (Gus Rey) to the Colfax Canvas 2026 lineup! 🎨
Gus grew up a short drive from Aurora, and this city has been a part of his life since childhood — now he’s bringing that connection full circle, collaborating on a new mural in ACAD.
