Costume-Con 42 Aurora, CO is host to the 42nd Annual Costume-Con -- a 4-day event celebrating all things costuming, cosplay, props, and accessories.

The event is held in a different city across the US or Canada each year! Last time it was in the Denver Area was in 2013. Costume-Con 42 is a 4-day costuming and cosplay convention happening March 29 - April 1, 2024 in Aurora Colorado

•Milliways Social - Friday @ 6pm
Meet and mingle while hors d’oeuvres wish to be eaten and Pan Galactic Gargleblasters are available from the cash bar to kick off the weekend!

•Sewstine Q&A - Saturday @ 1pm
We will take an hour to ask Christine all about all the wonderfully awesome things she does!

•Iron Costumer - Monday @ 12:30pm
This very very serious costume competition pits two teams to create a (SURPRISE) themed costume with (surprise) ingredients and surprise challenges from the audience!

•Fabric, Costume & Swap - Monday @ 2:15pm-ish
After the winners of Iron Costumer have shopped the swap as their prize, the piles will open to any attendee— you do not need to have donated to swap but BYPBag just in case!

🎙️… AND NOW ON THE MAIN STAGE…!

The wonderful team at Crème Brulesque have curated a lovely line up of performers for our Cosplay Cabaret as well as Drag Brunch. Crème Brulesque is a LGBTQ+ and body positive performance troupe from the Denver area that enjoys bringing delicious art to audiences along the front range.

Friday night’s Cosplay Cabaret performances will begin at 10pm! Please keep in mind that this is 18+ programming and IDs will be checked at the door.

Sunday morning’s Drag Brunch will begin at 10am for everyone! You can grab your brunch at the To-Go stand in the lobby and if you are 21+ there might be a mimosa with your name on it available at the Milliways Bar.

🌟 If this is your first time attending a show here are some tips to keep in mind!

1.) Consent is key! Performers might come out to the audience and play at interaction. Please remember to not touch a performer unless they take your hand to participate in the bit. Additionally, do not be afraid to politely decline the offer to participate.

2.) Support all the performers on the stage! Performers work meticulously preparing their looks and routines so even if their style isn’t your thing, please assist in still creating a positive and supportive environment!

3.) Bring your dollar dollar bills y’all! The best way to support your performers are to tip them! Tipping cash is a fun interactive way to get a special wink or moment. There will also be an opportunity to tip digitally. But all dollars, digital or otherwise, go back to support these artists sharing their talent with us.
