DM ME!

A few details:

Photographers would need to provide their own camera and lens.

We will provide memory cards for the event.

No photo editing would be required. We are primarily looking for race-day photography and the original images.

This would be a volunteer opportunity for students interested in gaining event photography experience and building their portfolios.

The race will start at the Sharon Jones Amphitheater.

Every year, runners tell themselves they’ll sign up later.

Every year, we sell out.

The Savannah River Marathon has become one of the Southeast’s favorite fall race experiences, and registration spots don’t last forever. If this race is on your bucket list, now is the time to claim your spot.

Picture yourself running through two states, following the Savannah River, taking in the beauty of the North Augusta Greeneway, the Augusta Canal, and miles of scenic riverfront trails. It’s a course that challenges you, inspires you, and rewards every mile with unforgettable views.

Whether you’re aiming for your first 10K, your next half marathon, or the full 26.2-mile challenge, race day starts with one decision:

Register before it’s too late.

When registration closes, it closes. There are no extra bibs, no waitlist miracles, and no guarantees you’ll get another chance this year.

Join thousands of runners for an unforgettable fall race experience and secure your spot before the field reaches capacity.

What if this is the year you do something that challenges you?

Not because it’s easy. Not because it’s comfortable.

Because growth happens when you step outside your routine and discover what you’re truly capable of.

The 2026 Savannah River Marathon is more than a race. It’s an opportunity to experience something new, set a goal that excites you, and cross a finish line you’ll never forget.

Whether you’re taking on your first 10K, chasing a half marathon PR, or conquering all 26.2 miles, every step tells a story.

Along the way, you’ll run one of the Southeast’s most scenic courses. Follow the winding paths of the North Augusta Greeneway, the riverfront levee trails, and the historic Augusta Canal. Cross between South Carolina and Georgia while taking in beautiful river views, towering trees, and the vibrant colors of autumn.

The challenge is real.
The accomplishment is worth it.
The memories last forever.

Make 2026 the year you say yes to something bigger.
