🏁⚡ MINI MOTOR MADNESS IS BACK! ⚡🏁

After an absolutely AWESOME first year, we're bringing Mini Motor Madness back to the Audubon County Fair!

Last year, the smiles were huge, the competition was fierce (well, as fierce as 5-and-under can be 😆), and the crowd loved watching our tiniest racers. Now it's time to do it all again!

Calling all drivers ages 8 and under! Join us Thursday, July 16, at 5:30 p.m. and put those Power Wheels to the test. Whether your little racer is behind the wheel themselves or cruising in the parent-controlled division, everyone gets their chance to shine on the track.

👕 FREE t-shirt for all racers who register by July 1

🇺🇸🎡 Who is excited for the Audubon County Fair! Get ready for an unforgettable week packed with family fun, delicious food, and memories waiting to be made.

Come support our amazing local 4-H and FFA youth as they showcase the hard work they've put into their many projects this year. From livestock shows and exhibits to entertainment and community traditions (new and old!), there's something for everyone to enjoy.

🏁 WE ARE RACING THIS FRIDAY! 🏁

The Figure 8 Races are happening Friday, June 12, at the Audubon County Fairgrounds!

⏰ Drivers Meeting: 7:10 p.m.
🏎️ Racing Starts: 7:30 p.m.

We'll have the concession stand fully stocked and the beer garden serving cold drinks all evening. Join us for another great night of summer racing!

👑 Audubon County Fair Queen Applications Are Open! 👑

What is the Fair Queen Contest?
The Fair Queen Contest is a long-standing Iowa tradition that recognizes outstanding young women from communities across the state.

What does the Audubon County process look like?
Contestants participate in a personal interview where judges get to know you, your interests, and your future goals. Before interviews, you'll attend the Fair Queen Dinner, a relaxed and fun opportunity to enjoy great conversation and settle those pre-interview nerves.

Why should you apply?
The experience helps you develop leadership and communication skills while competing for scholarship dollars. If selected as Audubon County Fair Queen, you'll represent our county throughout fair week, assist with special events and awards presentations, and have the opportunity to compete at the Iowa State Fair Queen Contest. Along the way, you'll make unforgettable memories, gain valuable life experience, and make amazing connections across Iowa.

✨ You do not have to be in 4-H or FFA to participate. We are looking for outstanding young women who are passionate about Audubon County and excited to represent their community! If you're interested in applying, reach out to Becca Grabill (send us a message for her contact information) and she'll help you get started.

🎬🚗 PAJAMA PARTY AT THE DRIVE-IN MOVIE 🚗🎬

Tonight's the night! Grab your pajamas, blankets, lawn chairs, and the whole family for a fun evening under the stars!

📍 Please enter using the first driveway after crossing the bridge and follow the road up to the movie area.

🚗 Our parking crew will be directing vehicles, so please be patient as we get everyone parked and settled in.

🚙 If you have a larger vehicle (truck, SUV, van, etc.), we'd greatly appreciate you parking a few rows back when possible so everyone can enjoy a great view of the screen.

🔊 If you are sensitive to loud noises, you may want to park farther back from the first few rows.

🪑 Want to watch outside your vehicle? We'll have a designated seating area in front of the screen—just bring your lawn chairs!

🌭 Concessions will be available with hot dogs, popcorn, candy, peanuts, and more.

🔍 Scavenger Hunt: 6:30–8:00 PM
💃 Dance Party: 8:00 PM
🎥 Movie Starts: Around 8:30 PM (at sunset)
