Help Flight Club Foundation today by bidding at their "Spring Into Summer Fundraiser"!

All donations go to Flight Club Foundation ongoing programs they provide all year long:

1. WORLD PARROT EXPO planning and fundraising.
2. Parrot Ambassadors outreach educational programs on a regular basis.
3. Parrot Playdates twice a month every month in Tacoma.
4. FCF online store items for you to shop for your parrot loving friend or for parrot supplies.
5. PARROTT program helping parrots find homes, stay in homes: Parrot Adoption Rehab, rescue, Owner-Training and Triage program.
6. Parrot Grant: An annual grant given to parrot research in conservation or cognition or veterinary care.
7. Global Carbon Crisis Initiative: Addressing the man-made climate affect using parrots as the indicator order for the need of immediate change.

We gave a $1000 grant to The Macaw Society in 2024! The work they continue to do in long term macaw studies in the Tambopata region is deeply critical. Your sponsorships, exhibitorship, attendance of workshops, helps us help so many people, parrots and organizations globally.

Our last chick in the nest this season… and what a beautiful one 🦜💚

This Scarlet Macaw chick was checked in the field today as part of our regular nest monitoring. We record weight, crop size, and body condition to better understand chick growth and development in the wild.

These are not simple handling procedures done for the sake of manipulation. They are careful, science-based evaluations that help us better understand the biology of the species and make better conservation decisions.

A beautiful moment at the end of the season — and an important reminder of why long-term monitoring matters.
