Unfortunately our Christmas Light show has come to a complete end. My father is now 89 and can no longer due the display set up.
It has been a wonderful run for many years. We have enjoyed putting the display up for our community and bringing many smiles and memories for everyone that came to see the lights.
From all of us Atkins to all of you and our community. Thank you for enjoying our light display for many years.

Due to family issues we will not be having our light display this year.
My dad is recovering from being sick and medical issues.

We are still adding more each day and will continue to do so until the display stops on Jan 10th. Why you ask? Testing for next year if course.

What a difference a week makes. Things are looking a lot better. Still plenty to add, but nearing original target completion. Now that we aren't stressed and rushing, we keep thinking up new ideas. New songs have been added and will be improved each day to make them look better.

Creating all the new display elements has taken a lot longer than we originally thought. It's all built, soldered and wired by hand from scratch. Now, after a ton of work yesterday and today we have about 90% of it up and running. We are ready to start adding additional songs! The Ole man even has a Pixel Top Hat that's part of the display and you may see him out adding finishing touches or fixing a few bad pixels or just wandering around the yard. Lights run 5 to 11 nightly until Jan 10th. We still have quite a bit to add.

Just a heads up to everyone. I (Hardware and Software Guy) will be away on vacation for the next 11 days. Our Light Show is a work in progress with such a HUGE Transition to new Tech. We don't even have half of the display up yet so please be patient. We concentrated on making sure what we had already finished was working properly. We are working out bugs as we go and only running with 1 song currently. More songs will be added in the next few weeks as I can add them remotely. Additional display elements are being built by the rest of the family while I'm away having some fun in the sun. They will be finished and added after I return. Thanks again for your patience. FYI. We don't have our sign built and up yet so please use 89.3FM to listen!!!!

Just an update, we decided to amend the hours a little to offer more time to see the lights.
Thanksgiving through New Years starting nightly at 5PM.
Sunday through Thursday until 9pm
Fridays and Saturdays until 11pm
You may also get lucky and catch us testing almost every night of the week!

Been getting a lot of questions about whether we having a display this year. The answer is a resounding Yes!!! We have been working feverishly for months on a massive overhaul to the display. Out with strings of LED lights and in with Pixels!!!

Sorry for the inconvenience to anyone that came out to see the lights. The hard drive to the laptop died and we had to get it switched over to a new One. The lights are now back running. We will run the light show until 11pm from now until NewYears night.
