A VIEW WORTH SHARING. ⛰️

Some trails offer more than a challenge. They give us a chance to discover the beauty of the mountains from a whole new perspective.

From the pine-covered slopes of Mt. Kotkot to the flowing singletrack toward Masibol Trail, runners are treated to breathtaking views of Mt. Ulap’s iconic facade on the right. The trail continues with a river crossing and a rewarding climb toward one of Benguet’s most beloved high points, Mt. Ulap.

We’re grateful to Mt. Kotkot Adventure for partnering with us and helping showcase these beautiful trails and landscapes to the running community. Through this partnership, we hope more runners can discover the hidden beauty of Benguet and experience the incredible views that make every step worthwhile.

Beyond the miles and elevation, there’s a whole world of natural beauty waiting to be explored.

A FRIENDLY REMINDER TO ALL RUNNERS AND HIKERS:

If you wish to explore these trails before the event, please coordinate with the Local Government Unit (LGU) and Mt. Kotkot Adventure to secure the necessary permissions before entering the area.

The event organizer and landowners shall not be held liable for any untoward incidents involving hikers or runners who enter or traverse the area without proper permission.

Being a responsible trail runner means respecting private property, following local regulations, and asking for permission before accessing the trails.

We’re back for another TGC100 Guided Training Run, together with The North Face Philippines and Don't Stop Running Community.

This session focus is all about building specific fitness for TGC60 & TGC100—getting familiar with unique trail sections, conditioning your quads through accumulated vert, and dialing in your fueling strategy and trekking pole technique before November.

📍OCTOBER 17 — SATURDAY GTR(guided trail run)
Distance: 20–22 KM
Elevation Gain: ~1,500m+
Assembly: 3:00 AM @ Caltex Gas Station, BGH Rotunda (beside Starwood Hotel)
Start Point: Sitio Maligaya, Poblacion, Itogon
End Point: Sitio Santa Fe, Ampucao, Itogon
Who's invited: TGC60K & TGC100K participants + RiCON volunteers

💵 ACTIVITY FEE: ₱1,000
Includes: Transportation, quickdry shirt from TNF, Trail Food, LGU fees, and local trail guides, post-run refreshment
⚠️ MANDATORY GEAR:
Trail running shoes
Minimum 1.5L hydration capacity
Trail food / race nutrition
Waterproof jacket / windbreaker
Headlamp / flashlight (with extra batteries)
Change of clothes
Emergency cash
Trekking poles (recommended for practice)

ELITE SPOTLIGHT: MAJO LIAO ⛰️

TGC100 KM | Quezon City, Metro Manila

An educator, healthcare professional, and elite Filipino ultra-trail runner.

Since stepping into the mountains in 2006 with the UST Mountaineering Club, Majo has spent over a decade dominating trail ultramarathons, multi-day stage races, adventure racing, and mountain biking- all while balancing a full-time career.

Beyond the podiums, Majo uses her platform to inspire women to pursue their goals, advocate for environmental conservation, and use sport to build a better community.

🏅 First Filipino Female Finisher of the Hardrock 100 Endurance Run
