This year’s Social will be a true Jersey Shore experience featuring ciders & meade brewers, local food vendors, cooking demos, live music, cider seminars and amusements, all on the BEACH! An exciting addition to the event will be a beach Bonfire. Dress in your best beach gear and leave your shoes at home! A few years ago, ciders were a super-sweet, rare find sitting at the edge of the alcoholic beverage world. In its current state, cider is becoming more diverse and appeals to both beer and wine drinkers. It is no secret that cider is rising through the ranks of beverage popularity among all demographics. The goal of The Atlantic City Cider Social is to promote and educate attendees on ciders as well as the brewers that create them. This event is the perfect opportunity for cider aficionados, cider lovers and the casual cider drinker to speak to the company representatives and brewers responsible for some of their favorite ciders. The Cider Social and Good Time Tricycle Productions are excited to name the Gilda’s Club of South Jersey the charitable beneficiary of The Cider Social. Gilda's Club South Jersey is a cancer support community where men, women, teens and children with cancer, and their families and friends, are always welcome free of charge. Its mission is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action, and sustained by community. The Cider Social will take place Saturday, August 6, 6pm-11pm. Tickets for the 2016 Atlantic City Cider Social go on sale Tuesday, May 31. Tickets are $40 in advance (fees apply) online at www.cidersocial.com or by visiting Joe Canals on Fire Road and on Rte 40 in Egg Harbor Township. Tickets at the door are $50 (if available) The Cider Social offers a “Designated Driver” ticket for $15, available at the door, to further encourage attendee responsibility. Attendees are also encouraged to utilize the many transportation options in the Atlantic City area, such as jitneys and cabs. All attendees are urged to taste responsibly. Please know your limits and book your hotel rooms now. No one under the age of 21 will be admitted into the show. Valid photo identification must be presented.
