Bringing local artists & audiences together to create intimate, live performances in secret spaces. Songs From a Room began in March 2009 in London.

It is an innovative concept, dedicated to bringing the best of new music to an unplugged and intimate private setting. Mix in a crowd of dedicated music lovers, other artists, and industry professionals, and you have an evening which promises electric performances and new networks. Past Performers:

A backyard full of good energy, new voices, and community.

This past Saturday, we hosted our first ever Backyard Open Mic, and the response was everything! Seven sign-ups, five open micers who took the stage, and so many moments worth celebrating. We’ll be sharing more of their performances soon, and we’re looking forward to seeing some of these incredible artists return as featured performers in the future. 👀

A huge thank you to our featured artists, Stax Hinsley and Spence Hood Music , for bringing the energy and setting the tone for the evening. ❤️

And we’re not done with the backyard just yet!

🎃 Our LAST Backyard Concert of October is Friday, October 30th!

Expect two highenergy performances to set the mood, followed by a DJ to keep the Halloween weekend vibes going. Costumes are encouraged, so come ready to enjoy some live music, good people, and a little Halloween fun.
