The Southern Roots Experience has officially opened its volunteer registration to support the Culinary Tailgate taking place from January 26th to February 3rd, 2019 at Friendship Field, across from Mercedes-Benz Stadium. We are seeking over 1,000 high-energy, enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to assist in welcoming over 15,000 guests to the Festival and our region during this 10-day celebration.

Volunteering with The Southern Roots Experience will be personally rewarding and offers the invaluable opportunity to enhance skills, knowledge and experience alongside current career or studies.

Volunteer Opportunities:
•Event Support – Serve as runners and overall event support
•Logistics - Serve as event services support such as set-up, unpacking and packing boxes, table and chair set-ups, moving items, breaking-down items
•Guest Services – Manage activities at registration: provide direction, welcome guests, distribute wrist bands and check credentials

•Gain valuable experience while building your resume
•Understand the value and diversity of communities and cultures

Qualifications:
•Must be 18 years of age at the time of application submission
•Attend on-site mandatory orientation and venue walk-through
•Outgoing and friendly personality
•Strong interpersonal skills

Time Commitment:
Volunteers will be required to commit at least 4 hours daily between the hours of 9:00am- 11:00pm between January 26th and February 3rd.
