We are heartbroken to share the passing of Michael Taylor, our beloved co-host and friend.
Michael brought warmth, humor, and steady compassion to every Hearts 2 Hugs autism event. His energy made families feel seen, kids feel safe, and our team feel like home.

He believed deeply in connection—meeting people where they are, celebrating every win, and reminding us that community is built one act of kindness at a time.

Michael’s spirit will always be part of Hearts 2 Hugs. We’ll keep honoring him through the love, laughter, and inclusion he helped create. 💙

To my fellow moms,

I recently watched “Mothers of Penguins” on Netflix, and it left me deeply moved and inspired. Penguins are such extraordinary creatures, especially their mothers. They embody a kind of resilience, unconditional , and adaptability that reminded me so much of our journeys as moms to incredible, unique .

The documentary beautifully showcases how these mothers work tirelessly to protect and nurture their babies, often braving the harshest conditions with unmatched patience and strength. Watching them navigate challenges with such grace gave me a profound sense of connection to their story.

As moms to children with autism, we often walk paths that others don’t fully understand. We face the storms, but we also experience the immense joy of watching our children grow in their own time and in their own way. This film is a tender reminder of the power of motherly love and the beauty of embracing the unexpected.
