What a journey and what a ride it has been. BeltGrind has gone from a group of friends wanting to do something wacky on bikes to over 1,000 riders making an odyssey through the city. We could not have asked for a better event this year.

Both Atlanta and the BeltLine are rapidly changing and constantly evolving and so too must the BeltGrind. As a team we have decided to go out on top and are closing the curtains on this wild ride for now. We are honored to have been a small, goofy memory in Atlanta's bike culture and brought the weird fun and good energy.

Thank you again for your participation in the joyous madness we have come to know as the BeltGrind. Be well, ride bikes, and do good things.

WOOOOOO! Thanks to all you BeltGrinders we were able to donate over $14,000 to our friends Bearings Bike Works!

Bearings Bike Works is a community-focused shop and non-profit youth development organization in southwest Atlanta where kids can earn a bike of their own while developing the skills necessary to successfully transition into adulthood and the workforce (copy from their website).

We are honored and grateful to have a direct impact in the community beyond the romp and stomp and majesty of BeltGrind. Congrats again to Bearings Bikes Works and keep doing what you do best!

What a day, what a night! Was it all a dream??? BeltGrind 2022 was an absolutely wild and muddy adventure. There were red carpet dance parties, close encounters with aliens, bellicose Oompa-Loompas, and plenty of dirty legs! A big THANK YOU goes out to all of our wonderful and tireless volunteers, the amazing checkpoint teams, and our sponsors.

REMINDER: parking will be EXTREMELY limited, plan to cycle or take MARTA to the event.

Here are the need-to-know details:

When: TODAY!! Saturday, 04/16 with check-in between 11:30AM - 1:30PM
Where: Event will start and end at the Lee+White Complex
What to bring: helmet, lock, lights, spare tubes, sunscreen (ponchos?), and a belt to be punched/branded.
What to wear: costumes! There will be prizes!

BeltGrind is a rain or shine event so it is all systems go for Saturday, 04/16! Get those tires inflated, lights/locks/spare tubes together, and costumes ready.

Strava and Ride With GPS routes have been posted up on our website (link in our profile). **Be sure to download Strava (free) and turn on the "Fly By Feature" under Settings-->Privacy.**

Hate waiting in line? Worried about carrying your swag at the BeltGrind event? Then Pre-Registration is for you! Join us this Sunday, 04/03 from 12PM to 2PM at Lee + White. You can get checked in early, grab your shirt and/or swag, and be ready to shred the BeltLine on the 16th. We are estimating 1,000+ riders at the BeltGrind so we highly recommend you make it out to pre-registration.

Stick around Sunday after pre-registration to join our team of volunteers and help clean up trash along the BeltLine starting at 2PM.
