First of all, hey girl! TODAY is the day, and there’s still time to grab your ticket! I need you dressed like you understood the assignment! 🤎🥂

The Beautiful Brown Girls Brunch is here, and we’re bringing the beauty, the sisterhood, and a little Sunday cutting up! For 13 years, Life Styled Honors has celebrated the beauty and brilliance of Black women and curvy girls—and today, we’re adding another beautiful memory.

We’re also celebrating the life and legacy of our beloved Wondrea Gilmore, whose presence as a Life Styled Honors model and honoree will always be part of our story. Today, we gather with love, make room for joy, and carry her memory with us. 🕊️

Nikki Lee is hosting, Vennie Kush is performing, and I’m expecting YOU to pull up and pop style!

📍 The Roux Kitchen
🤎 Come early, allow time for parking, and bring that good girlfriend energy.
🍽️ Food and additional drinks are purchased separately.

Some people are just part of the story and Nikki Lee has been part of the Life Styled Honors story for years. 🤎

She’s brought the laughs, the fashion, the energy and just the right amount of s**t talking to our stages. Fresh off being a featured designer/stylist in this year’s NYFW Indie Showcase, Nikki is back on the mic to host The Beautiful Brown Girls Brunch. 🎤✨

And honestly, there was NO way we were celebrating Wondrea without her.

Sunday, October 18 | 12–4 PM

I definitely found out what I’ve been missing.

For 13 years, Life Styled Honors created spaces for us to gather, and for six of those years, The Beautiful Brown Girls Brunch gave us something even more special, a place where sisters could come together, love on one another, celebrate one another, and simply BE.

A space where our beauty and brilliance had a home.
Where we could laugh too loud, dress too fly, connect too deeply and take up all the space we deserved.
A space that felt safe. A space that felt like us.

And whew… I miss y’all.

So first of all, HEY GIRL! And HEY FREEEN all the way to Heaven to our beautiful, brilliant Brown Girl Wondrea Gilmore, THEE . 🤎

Preparing to celebrate her life and legacy reminded me how much I miss the fellowship, the sisterhood and the magic that happens when beautiful Brown girls get in a room together.

So we’re coming back to the table.

On Sunday, October 18, I’m inviting you to come celebrate Wondrea. Come celebrate her beauty, her brilliance, her life and her legacy.

But also come for you.

Come in sisterhood.
Come in womanhood.
Come ready to laugh, love, pour into somebody and be poured into.

And come ready to connect with a woman you may not know yet because sis, she just might be the missing link in your chain.

Beautiful Brown Girls Brunch is back. 🤎🌿🥂

And this time, it means a little more.
