This week marks the anniversary of the death of Officer Gregory Davis, the namesake of L5P’s Davis Plaza. Davis was killed in the line of duty in 1988 while pursuing the “Bicycle Killer.”

Today, his memory lives on in the plaza that bears his name, where a memorial statue honors his life and service and preserves an important piece of Little 5 Points history.
