Leading the night is Host Chef Mairym Monti Carlo, Food & Dining Editor at the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, acclaimed cookbook author, award-winning television host, and one of the country’s leading voices in modern Puerto Rican cuisine.

When Joy McKenzie had already secured her festival tickets before undergoing knee surgery, she wasn’t about to let a knee scooter keep her from joining the fun.
 
Three flights of stairs, a far-away parking spot, an uphill scooter trek, and plenty of grass and gravel later, Joy made it to The Home Depot Backyard and still had the best time. 🛴
 
Great food, great drinks, and one very determined festival-goer made for an AFWF memory she’ll never forget.
 
This year, Joy is ready to make her return, this time without the scooter. ❤️
