Farragut Open is North Idaho's premier disc golf tournament held in the fall marking the end of the touring season for touring disc golf players. This years event is a 3 day tournament designed to allow spectators and amateurs alike to follow the final round of local and touring professionals as they battle it out on Sunday during their final round. This years tournament will be adding $3500 cash to the pro purse and looks to break the Idaho state record in payouts and attendance.

Gearing up for the 20th Annual ‘Throwback’ Farragut Open, September 27-29th 2019.

The Throwback idea came to me in 2017 when I was debating the cost of the registration for the players and the return on their investment of time and finances. The cost of fuel, food, camping, parking, PDGA memberships, registration and other ‘what-have-yous’ adds up over time, especially if your not from our immediate area. The solution to this investment issue seemed simple to me -- just lower the price of registration and ensure that the players still get modern day scaled payouts and bad ass players packs.

“I’ll do a Throwback registration -- like $25-$50, but with modern day payouts for the pro’s ” -- I announced on Hole 1 at Corbin during league in 2017 “What about the AM’s... and how the ____ are you gonna do it? -- I was asked “I don’t know. Fund Raisers? Raffle Cars? Private investors? philanthropists? Do you know any?” The financial solution has not presented itself completely, but we are moving forward as planned. Here is what Throwback is looking like so far. Professional Divisions (PDGA): $59.99 registration scaled to $100 registration* 200+ player capacity, $2500 added cash. 2 Rounds on Friday, 1 Round on Saturday.

Amateur Divisions (PDGA): $49.00 registration 280+ player capacity Throwback players pack. 2 Rounds on Saturday. Junior Divisions (Under 13): $15.99 Registration Throwback Players Pack 1 Round / event Sunday AM An additional event will be held on Sunday for all players...but more on that later.
