Clear skies today, so we hope to see you all for another great day at the Atascadero Fall Fest! We are open from 12 - 10 p.m. and start the day off with Fiesta Sunday featuring Flor de Luna Folklorico dancers, La Nave Especial and Equipo Elite on the Visit Atascadero Main Stage.

We end with Wordsauce, False Puppet and Carbon City Lights!

On our Holiday Inn Express Stage we have Leo y Los Caballeros, Melodious Funk SLO, Bracero Social Club, Neighborhood Katz and Central Roots!

The Fall Fest is open Rain or Shine! We have some great bands playing today on both stages, including Reggae Legend and Icon, Pato Banton and the Colony Days Parade at 10 a.m.

We kick things off with our 80s and 90s Dance party featuring the 90s Babiez, ULTRA, Way Out West and ClubDv8band on the Visit Atascadero Main Stage!

We end with Reggae Night with Pato and True Zion.

On our Holiday Inn Express Stage we have Main Street Dance, Singh Sohi, Ghost\Monster, HOT TINA, Talie & The Troublemakers and Sound Investment.

We also have our Suds at Sunken Gardens boutique craft beer festival from 12 - 3:30 p.m. $35 for unlimited samples from any of our bars, including visiting breweries and wineries!

Many of you have reached about this weekends potential for rain. The Atascadero Fall Festival and the Colony Days. - the Annual Community Celebration of Atascadero Parade on Saturday are on rain or shine!

We are excited to share the most recent weather information from local Chief Meteorologist Mackenzie Lake from News Channel 3-12.

This is subject to change; however- latest data shows moderate to heavy rain for Atascadero after lunch Thursday and portions of Friday evening. The weekend appears to be more scattered showers but I believe biggest impacts to occur Thursday close to midday.

The data I have currently shows just over 1 inch of rain over 2-4 hours and an additional inch or so over the weekend. Winds will be strongest through midday Thursday as well.

All things considered, Santa Barabara and Ventura will have much larger rainfall amounts. I think low lying areas such as parking lots, creeks etc. may experience localized flooding. Lightning and pop-up thunderstorms will be a problem and tough to forecast Friday.

The weekend will probably change dramatically as well but remnant scattered showers likely for the second half of each day.
