If you didn't use yours, you can bring them back to us at the chamber, or save them for next October.

We are so excited to see all 3,500 of you on the bridge tomorrow.
Get some rest, arrive early for shuttles and be ready to share your best joke with our starting area DJ, Bruce Smith Music.

Packet pickup continues today from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Chamber.
Our Friday crew (some pictured here) checked in nearly 600 participants yesterday. We have about 1,600 more of you to assist. Please keep these tips in mind to help things run smoothly:
* You can send one person to pick up multiple packets, whether the group waits outside or at home.
* Be prepared to fill out a claim ticket for each participant. If you are picking up for friends or family, know their full name and the city they live in.
* Check your race bib label when you receive it — make sure the info matches you (or the person you’re picking up for). Let us know if you spot a typo.
* You can exchange shirt sizes in our pop-up store after you’ve picked up your packet.
* Missed your pickup time earlier this week? No problem — come see us today so you’re ready to race tomorrow!
Be patient with our team and each other — we're all in this for a fun time!

REMINDER: There are several locations for event shuttles to the starting line on Sunday, October 12.
As in previous years, there is no parking or drop-off allowed at the starting line at Dismal Nitch Rest Area. Participants must arrive by shuttle bus.
We will offer five shuttle stops on the Oregon side:
• Astoria High School (parking & shuttle stop)
• Bayside (parking & shuttle stop)
• CMH Field (parking & shuttle stop)
• East Mooring Basin (parking & shuttle stop)
• Basin Street (walk-in shuttle stop with handicap parking only)
We will also offer one shuttle stop on the Washington side:
• Port of Chinook, WA (parking & shuttle stop).
Flaggers and volunteers will be at each parking/shuttle location to assist you.
We have a lot of you to shuttle across, so please give yourself enough time to get parked and on the bus on Sunday morning.
Big thanks for the support from School District and our bus drivers, as well as Clatsop Care Center Health District for their supporting sponsorship.

We're all watching the weather forecast and hoping it clears up a bit, but it looks like we might need some rain gear for Sunday.
***
We'll have our gear check service available at the starting area if you need it. You can leave your layers (jacket, sweatpants, etc.) with us at Gear Check at the starting area and pick your items up at the finish area. Gear Check closes at 8:10 a.m. sharp, so the truck can cross the bridge before the closure. A bag for your checked item(s) will be provided for you at Gear Check. (Those arriving on later shuttles may arrive after gear check has closed.)
