More than 80% of the exhibition floor for ICBC Berlin 2027 has been booked. 📈

The event is getting ready to bring together representatives from more than 500 pharmacies and 300 canna social clubs.

The program will also feature a second stage inside the exhibition area. ICBC will host “Country Meetups” presenting updates and developments in individual countries. 🌍

🇺🇾 Uruguay is seeing more consumers turn to regulated channels, with activity through authorized pharmacies continuing to increase.

In the first eight months of 2026, activity across the country’s 60 authorized pharmacies increased 46% compared with the same period last year. 🏪

According to IRCCA Executive Director Martín Rodríguez, the trend reflects a growing number of people accessing canna through regulated channels, rather than an increase in overall consumption. 🌿

- As the world’s first country to establish a nationwide adult-use canna framework, Uruguay continues to offer a unique example of how a regulated market can develop over time.

🇺🇸 On November 3, Massachusetts voters will decide Question 8, which would repeal the state’s laws legal•zing, regulating, and taxing adult-use canna sales while keeping the medical canna system in place. The measure would take effect in 2028 if approved.

Yet, the actual results of legal•zation in Massachusetts speak for themselves:

• $1.5B+ in tax revenue generated and 18,000 jobs created
• ~50% drop in teen canna use since 2016
• 71% of voters currently oppose the repeal in recent polling

While voters clearly favor keeping canna l•gal, turnout will decide everything come November. 🗳️

🇩🇰 Denmark saw a significant increase in medical canna use in 2025, with 2,465 patients receiving prescriptions and 22,410 prescriptions dispensed, up 54% and 64% respectively from 2024. 🌿

At the same time, the Danish Medicines Agency received just three suspected adverse reaction reports and identified no signals of new or changed safety risks. 🔬

- The country’s medical canna pilot programme became permanent in January 2026, marking a new phase for patient access and safety monitoring.

Spain imported 25,730 kg of medical canna products in the first half of 2026, almost matching the total imported during all of 2025. If the current pace continues, imports could surpass the 2024 record and nearly double last year’s total. 🌿

Portugal accounted for around 44% of Spain’s H1 imports, with much of the material entering the country for processing and sterilisation before being sent back out. 🇵🇹

At the same time, Spain exported 18,305 kg in the first half of 2026, while the country continues building its domestic medical framework. 🔬
