A few fun facts about Ashland's Masonic Temple:
1. Erected in 1932 during the height of the American depression. With assets from Poage Lodge No. 325, Apperson Chapter No. 61 Royal Arch Masons, and Ashland Commendery No. 25 Knights Templar, the current structure of our temple was built over the razed mansion of the late Hugh C. Poage, whose widow donated the property and mansion to the Freemasons of Ashland.
2. All of the steele used to build the building was made right here in Ashland at Armco Steele, and you can still find ARMCO's brand still stamped on to many of the implements of architecture within our building.
3. The Temple currently houses Poage Lodge No. 325 F&AM and other appendant Masonic bodies within Freemasonry, and we are always open for other lodges and appendant bodies to make the temple their home as well.
4. Our facilities are available for rent to anyone wishing to host any formal gathering: parties, dances, entertainment, etc. Contact us today for more information!
