The Double Down Endurance Races

Today we would like to update all our Friends and supporters of the Double Down Endurance Races. The 2025 event will have a different look and be absent of an Ultra distance offering. This has been a difficult and thoughtfully measured decision by our team. We are working on the full details and will share upcoming. The Whippersnapperz kids' event will take place again this year. We are deeply grateful for the support and love that you've all provided and shown to us over the first 3 years of this event. We've felt the love from many of you locally and from a great distance and It has been significant to our local community. More to come and Thank you.

As we start to wrap up and close out our 3rd year of The Double Down Endurance Races our race team, our students and our programs want to collectively and sincerely say THANK YOU to everyone that came out to race! You all are amazing! Your stories are all incredible and they inspire our teams and our local athletes that come out to encourage and support you all each year!

Thank you as well to Mahoney State Parks staff, to each of our sponsors and the many others that make this event possible.

We are now looking forward to the 2025 races and we hope you all come out to join us again next year. Until then Happy Trailz!

From our team a very BIG CONGRATULATIONS out to all 2024 finishers of The Double Down Endurance Races! Each of you are amazing! 👏

50K Finishers (all 27 of you) are now eligible with your Double Down Finish to complete the Rawhide Race Series 50K Double presented by Happy Trailz Running with the completion of this Fall’s 5th year anniversary race the Yippee-Ki-Yay 50K, in Council Bluffs, IA. You will receive a beautiful plaque when you do for your efforts. We certainly hope to see many of you out there for a lot of fun this October. Details of that event we also put on are below.
