We’ve had several of you reach out so far over the last couple of months and we’ve been trying to work any possible angle into making it happen… but unfortunately… the Tri-State BBQ Brawl for 2026 will NOT be happening. At no fault of anyone’s, we unfortunately weren’t able to generate enough resources to pull it off this year due to many areas of our tri-state being affected due to things out of our control. We look forward to spending this season planning and developing a bigger, much better Tri-State BBQ Brawl for next year!!

Returning to this year’s Tri-State BBQ Brawl is none other than Peanut’s Balloons and Yard Cards! Located right next to the Paramount Arts Center, they’ve got some awesome balloon art for the little ones!

Quick update, Brawlers.

The amazing people at SERVPRO of Ashland have donated many cases of water to this year’s Tri-State BBQ Brawl—meaning that we can now give bottles away, free of charge, at our information booth.

Our information booth can be found on the street between the two parking lots, and alongside handing out water while it lasts, the booth will be there all day for Competitors, Vendors, and attendees to answer questions and help everyone have a wonderful experience at this year’s TSBBQB!

Hydration is important! Check our recent posts for some tips on combating this summer heat.

🚨 PARKING ALERT 🚨

Please be advised that the parking lot next to the Paramount will be closed during both performances of the Paramount Players production of Rock of Ages (Fri June 20 and Sat June 21) to accommodate the 4th Annual Tri-State BBQ Brawl. Ticket holders will need to make alternative parking arrangements. We look forward to seeing you in Ashland!

Heads up, BBQ fans!

With high temperatures and lots of sunshine expected this weekend in Ashland, we want everyone to enjoy the Tri-State BBQ Brawl safely and comfortably.

Here’s how to beat the heat:
• Bring & apply sunscreen – SPF 30+ is recommended.
• Hydrate often – Ice-cold water and beverages will be available from multiple vendors. Don’t wait until you’re thirsty!
• Seek shade when needed – Take breaks from the sun throughout the day.
• Dress light – Wear breathable clothes, hats, and sunglasses.
• Watch for signs of heat exhaustion – Dizziness, cramps, and confusion are signs to cool down fast.

Emergency services are on-call and nearby in case of any health concerns. Don’t hesitate to flag a staff member if you or someone else needs help.

I started my macramé journey three years ago make smaller items. What began as only lightweight earrings has gradually transformed into a little of everything including earrings, unique ankle bracelets, fun accessories for your vehicle, and boho style decorations for your home. All of my macramé pieces are unique in their own way while they are handmade in Russell, KY.
