Thanks to All
First, to my better half Donna. Thank you for your personal investment, perseverance, and unwavering dedication to our show despite your many other obligations. Your valuable ideas and honest critique serve as the guardrails I need from the most trusted adult in the room. Thanks, Baby. You rock!
While Donna is my right hand, Franni is my write hand. She is far more than just the WMG secretary. Franni has poured a huge part of her daily life into making this show happen. For the past three years she has documented every single meeting we have had for WMG and RTM. Her detailed notes, taken over dozens of meetings, have kept us focused and on track. Her positive energy, imagination, and spirit contribute more to this project than money ever could.
Of course, ideas and meetings are nothing without action. Thanks to Wade for being the muscle behind this operation. He is the hardest-working Boomer I know. Honestly, it is staggering to think how much he would accomplish if he did not have to do everything twice (just kidding, sort of). I value Wade most as a friend, but also as the literal backbone of this show. Thank you for all you do and for being such a great person.
Speaking of great people, I owe gratitude to every member of our committee. Each has brought their own brand of brilliance to this event. Cyndy, Dee Dee, Jen, Karen, Gene, Lynn, and Tony have been ride or die from the beginning. It has been inspiring to watch each of you add your personal touch to the show. And a special shoutout to our most luminous committee member, Deano. His incredible lights and decorations elevate the presentation and give fans an ever-changing feast of color and eye candy. I cannot wait to see what he has in store for next year.
Thanks also to those who believed in this show back when it was just an idea, and to those who continue to support us financially. Hampton, Columbia, Tulalip Cares, as well as personal supporters like Kiley and Deano, gave us the capital to launch this dream and create something amazing. Thanks as well to everyone who donated goods or services as part of their sponsorship. These partnerships are the foundation of a great show, and we look forward to growing with you.
Money does not buy everything, which is why we owe a special thank you to nearly 100 volunteers who gave their time and energy before, during, and after the show. For every handful of attendees there was a volunteer working hard so the rest of us could have a great time. Thank you. You absolutely killed it!
A huge thanks also goes to our many vendors and contractors who took a chance on us. No show is complete without your wares, your talent, or your gear. We know it is a risk for businesses like yours to invest in a new show, and we are grateful you believed in us. Thank you for all the amazing things you bring to the party.
Of course, you cannot rock a mountain without music. To all the bands who have graced our stage over the past couple of years, thank you. Many of you performed for little or nothing, and your dedication has been a huge part of the show’s success. Your music makes this event what it is. You f**kin’ ROCK!!
Finally, thank you to everyone who came to Rock the Mountain. You are the rockers who made it happen, and you are the reason this crazy trip is worth the ride.
ROCK ON!!!
