Arlington, Texas - The largest festival in Arlington will expand beyond the 200 and 300 blocks of West Main St in the Cultural District in Downtown Arlington. This year, 2 blocks have been added and the festival now includes Pecan St. connecting with the Levitt Pavilion grounds. The 2023 West Main Arts Festival will create a 6 block street scene including over 100 art/vendor booths,12 food trucks

and food vendors. The Arlington Public Library will provide and interactive kids area in the West Main Pocket Park. This 6 block stretch of West Main includes the Arlington Museum of Art, Dance Theater Arlington, Theater Arlington, Arlington Public Library and the Create Arlington Studios and Gallery

The event also features 4 stages and 30 local bands along with buskers playing along West Main. Bring your lawn chairs to relax and listen to the music. This is a family friendly even and pets are welcome! There will also be plenty of open space on the street for kid and adults to bring their bikes or scooters to enjoy the Downtown streets. This festival was created 8 years ago by Arlington residents to support artists and musicians in the Arlington area. West Main Arts Festival is now accepting applications for visual artists, makers, musicians, performers, artisan vendors, and food trucks for its highly anticipated 10th annual event taking place in Downtown Arlington on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from Noon to 6:00 PM.

The festival transforms West Main Street into one of North Texas’ most vibrant celebrations of creativity and community, featuring live music, local art, interactive experiences, food, and family-friendly activities in the heart of Downtown Arlington.

Applications are open now through June 15, 2026. Organizers are seeking a diverse mix of painters, sculptors, photographers, ceramic artists, jewelry makers, craft vendors, musicians, street performers, cultural groups, and food vendors to help create an immersive arts and music experience.

Join us Sunday, May 10, for a fun afternoon of live music, with proceeds benefiting restoration efforts of our historic cabins at Knapp Heritage Park.

We're excited to announce that Max Segura of Young Stars and Guitars will be the opening act! Max has performed at Knapp before and is a talented young artist with an authentic sound. He goes on at 2:00 PM, so there get early to enjoy his set. Walt Wilkins goes on at 3:30 PM.
