Amber Massa is bringing TWO different learning experiences to Kapital Kidvention this year — a classroom session focused on color theory and a special Saturday-night hands-on workshop where attendees can actually build their own GTX cakes.

COLOR THEORY FOR SPLIT CAKES: CREATING COMBINATIONS THAT WORK
Creating a beautiful split cake is about more than putting several pretty colors next to each other.
Why do some combinations blend beautifully while others turn muddy?
How does the placement of each color affect the finished stroke?
And how can you create combinations that give you more predictable results?
Amber will break down the color theory behind successful split cakes and show attendees how to:
• Understand how colors interact
• Choose combinations that blend successfully
• Use color placement to control the finished result
• Create customized split cakes for different designs
• Work more quickly and consistently when building combinations
Amber will demonstrate these concepts using GTX Facepaint and will also show how the GTX Studio app can help artists plan and create their color combinations.
The goal is to leave with principles you can use long after the class is over — whether you’re choosing an existing cake or creating one completely from scratch.

Victor Thomas is bringing more than 30 years of variety entertainment experience to the Kapital Kidvention Clown Track — and he’s covering TWO very different sides of character performance.

Over the years, Victor has performed as Ranger Vic, Happy the Clown, and Mr. Holiday, entertaining audiences throughout the Midwest and even performing for sold-out crowds at major and minor league baseball stadiums.
Today, he also shares joy in a very different setting as a resident Health Humor Red Nose Doctor — Dr. Achoo — at one of the nation’s largest children’s hospitals.
That combination of entertainment, character work, crowd experience, and hospital clowning gives Victor a lot to share.

🎭 THE BUSINESS OF MASCOTS
There is a lot more to mascot work than simply putting on a costume.
Victor will cover:
