Washington County Fair, Arlington, NE: July 31st - August 5th 2026

As in the past, we will be taking items in for storage the Saturday October 31st, beginning at 8:00am.

The rate this year is $15 per ft. measured hitch coupler to bumper or prop.

The RVR building, for 5th wheels and anything else over 12ft tall, must be emptied on Saturday March 6th. All other buildings Saturday April 10th.

Buildings are secured. There are no in/out privileges.

Availability is on a first come, first served basis. As we don't know the size and shape of items which come in, we are unable to guarantee availability.

We have a major construction project going on at this time which may make things a little chaotic. We will appreciate everyone's patience as we get the items put in the buildings.

The Washington County Fair is saddened by the loss of Bob McKay of McKay Rodeo Co.. Bob was a great friend and partner of our rodeo for a number of years. His positive attitude and laughter will remain with us forever..
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the McKay Rodeo Co.family and all who knew Bob and enjoyed the wonderful events he helped create across the region.
Rest in peace Bob.

Congratulations to our 2 drawing contest winners this year! The drawing contest theme was the same as the fair — “Stars, Stripes, and Fair Nights”

All of our entries were amazing, and their drawings based on the theme were so fun to see!

The Kids Barn volunteers narrowed it down to the top 4 drawings in each age group, and we took them to the fair office for voting! The fair board, associates, staff, and other volunteers had an opportunity to vote on them during the last day of the fair.

Great work, ladies! Your drawings will be hung in the Kids Barn for years to come!

If you’d like your child’s drawing back, they will be at the Washington County extension office for pick-up this week! 597 Grant St #200 Blair, NE.

It was a great fair week. But the fair actually started weeks ago with the moving of the south ag and goat and horse buildings to their new locations next to the beef barn. You will see pictures of that process among this assortment photos.
