BRANDON HAYNES
Brandon Haynes holds a Master of Music degree from the University of Central Oklahoma, a Bachelor of Music degree from OCU, and an Associate of Arts degree in Music from NOC, where he currently serves as a faculty member in the Fine Arts Music Division and has upheld that position for 16 years. In addition to his role as a professor of music at NOC, he is the staff musical arranger and vocal director for the college’s pop troupe, The Roustabouts, a position that involves writing and orchestrating a two-hour show each season. He also serves as the Director of Music and Worship Arts at First United Methodist Church in Tonkawa and as the Artistic and Choral Director for the Choral Arts Society of Northern Oklahoma (CASONO Community Chorus) in Ponca City. As an active performer, he appears regularly as a soloist and with two civic pop/rock bands, contributing as both keyboardist and vocalist. His work as a recording artist includes the release of two pop studio albums: “With a Little Help from My Friends” in September 2023 and “The Human Experience” in August 2025, both available for streaming on Spotify and Apple Music. He is currently composing and recording his “Requiem”, scheduled for independent publication and release in 2027.

Pinch pot clay is what’s happenin’ at the Ark City Arts at the Burford! Young “wonder makers” put their creative minds and hands to work to each form his or her own original piece.

Instructors Melanie Beltz, Kassie Lewis, and volunteer Bella Beltz brought the Art Studio to life with imagination.

The youngsters will paint their pieces next week!!
