First, I would like to say “Thank you” to the community that has supported us over the past 15 years.
The Gathering Place was a vision I had after retiring from public school to open a venue for family’s to come and enjoy a place together for their events and I feel we accomplished that goal in so many ways over the years. There has been so much laughter, smiles, new beginnings, babies, marriages, sweet sixteen parties, graduations, weddings, business meetings and more at this location for this is what Archdale really needed.
I’m Thankful for the people we’ve met over the years and the unforgettable memories that have been made with long lasting friendships. Those that have been repeat customers over the years you’ll never know how much that truly has meant to me. This has been more than just a vision it was a passion to be able to create other peoples dreams. The name meant more to me than anything for we have lived in this area for 40 plus years (who’s counting😂) and within knowing what businesses have been here over the years and the history it has; It just felt right bringing it back to a full circle with new life. Now that the owner of the property has decided to make some changes we’ve had to do the same. 😔 God has plans for everything that happens in your life and you just have to trust and believe in him.
It’s unfortunate that some things have to come to an end as far as the place. I’m going to miss this place for it will forever hold a special place in my❤️.
But, we will still have all of our tables, chairs and accessories for rental as well as our services still for hire to come and decorate parties, weddings etc at your location of choice. We will be open until June 30th after that our doors will be closed. You can still contact us by email or phone and will be glad to help anyway we can we’ve just been trying to process the changes and start with packing.
