An enchanting getaway spot where each cabin is private, caters to ADULTS only and accommodates 1 - 2 guests. The experience here will continue to evolve as we expand and sharpen our homesteading skills. In addition to farm fresh eggs, we intend to offer our home grown, fresh veggies to our guests. Dreamers, doers, entrepreneurs, homesteaders, and former urbanites. We purchased 70 acres in the Arcadia Valley during a time when we owned a successful electrical contracting enterprise in St. Louis. We figured it’d be a “weekend getaway” and a place to destress. When we found the property, Tiffany was in the midst of breast cancer treatment, surgeries and healing. We decided to ditch the stress, move to the country full-time, and shake things up. Self-sufficiency is something we're working on, one baby step at a time. Neither of us grew up growing or preserving food, building the things we need, or cooking from scratch. It's a satisfying feeling when you eat the loaf of bread you baked or eat the sprout salad you grew in the window sill. We were total newbies to this lifestyle in 2019 but it's one that feels right for us. Tiffany, especially, always knew there was something else "out there". Shopping, consuming and feeling stuck in the rat race didn't feel right to her. She has definitely found her groove out here in the country! We want to share our beautiful woodlands with YOU!
