Good evening, Rick. Just wanted to reach out and thank you again for allowing Maggie to run with me. Perfect morning for it, we had such a good time. I tried to carry enough water for us both so I could avoid the water stations. (Not everybody loves dogs!) Ran out towards the end, the volunteers you had working were so nice, they let me grab a cup of water for her. Start to finish, it was a great race. Maggie getting a medal made my day!

It has recently been brought to my attention that Harrison Hagan ran his first marathon at 23 years old at our 2024 Northwoods Escape Marathon. He finished the 26 miles with pride and was greeted at the finish line by his entire family. Unfortunately, Harrison died in a tragic car accident last fall and his family would like to honor his accomplishment and passion for running at our race this year because he loved this Marathon.

- Each Marathon bib will have a yellow circle with his bib number - 1672 so everyone can run the marathon with him.
- We will create a banner at the finish line with his picture and words of encouragement.
- Harrison's family has sponsored the refreshment tent at the finish line and will help with water stations on the course. Please stop in and say hello to the family.

We are still looking for volunteers to host our water stations. There are 5 left to claim. I'm also interested in finding a non-profit that would partner with us by hosting water stations, and in exchange, can solicit race sponsors for the shirts. Your group keeps all the money. It's an easy and effective way to raise money.

Blue Raven will not be hosting the Minocqua July 4 race this year. There were too many schedule conflicts to make it happen this year. Maybe next year.
