Ever wonder where the money goes when you run our 5k??? After paying our expenses, with the help of donations and sponsors we were able to donate $2,750 to Parkside Outreach Program. Today with a lot more sponsors and donations we were at the Parkside Back to School Bash. Providing assistance to the families and students. Just one of many events and programs they provide.

We're just 3 weeks away from the running of the Poke Salat 5k at Arab City Park on May 18th. May 1st is the last day to request a 5K t-shirt in your registration. So head on over to https://runsignup.com/Race/AL/Arab/PokeSalat5k and get signed up! This will be a great shake out race for your Cotton Row Runs the following weekend! Check out posts here on this page to view the course.

The Poke Salat 5k is proud to support https://www.facebook.com/parksideoutreach as the charity for our run. Parkside Outreach Program is a nonprofit 501(C)(3) located in Baileyton Alabama that serves the needs of the community. The Program operates a thrift store that funds our local Food Pantry and provides assistance to the community. The Parkside Outreach Program helps families in Cullman, Marshall, and other neighboring counties.
