🍭☀️ SUGARFEST 2026 — YOU SHOWED UP! ☀️🍭

Whew… Saturday was HOT! 🔥 But you know what was even hotter? The SugarFest spirit! ❤️

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy SugarFest this past Saturday, our amazing vendors, food trucks, volunteers, sponsors, families and attendees. You all rallied through the heat, grabbed a LOT of water (over 1,100 bottles to be exact! 💦😳), found some shade where you could, and STILL managed to make it a fun-filled day!

And now for the REALLY exciting part… SUGARFEST 2027, WE’RE COMING FOR YOU! 👀🍭

We got a little unlucky this year with the extreme heat AND the ongoing Rec Center construction keeping us from accessing the shady walking trail and our usual shady side of the park. But next year is looking MUCH cooler…literally and figuratively! 😎

🏠 SugarFest will have the option for indoor vendor spaces at the NEW Rec Center
🌳 AND we’ll be back on the shady side of the park!
🍭 More fun. More shade. More sweet memories.
☀️ Hopefully a little less surface-of-the-sun weather. 😂

📅 Applications for next year’s vendors will open the first part of October, so start getting those businesses, food trucks and creative ideas ready!

We run a veteran-owned beekeeping and farm business in the Somerville / Florette, Alabama area. We keep honeybees, produce raw unfiltered honey, and sell it at farmers markets, festivals, and a couple of local stores. The farm includes about 10 acres and roughly an acre of fruit trees. Christina Young is a Biologist and Mark Young is retired from the US Army after 23 years.

The Round Table Beverage Co. is bringing the drinks to SugarFest! We’re a locally owned North Alabama mobile drink business serving up our signature fruit refreshers, dirty sodas, energy drinks and more. Our menu is packed with bright, fun flavors — from fresh-fruit lemonades to colorful layered drinks you’ll definitely want a picture of before you take the first sip! Come find our little white horse trailer at SugarFest and grab a drink while you enjoy the festival. We can’t wait to see you in Arab!

My name is Jessica & my husband Durand and I are the owners of Cold Stone Creamery Albertville, we are locally owned and veteran owned . Our brick and mortar store is located in Albertville beside Buffalo Wild Wings, our ice cream is made in store fresh daily, we offer a premium ice cream. We also offer a variety of topping you can choose from to add to the ice cream , we offer a variety of other options like ice cream cakes , ice cream cookies, cupcakes and cookies. We also cater and have 2 options. Our trailer we use for events and festivals is still the same amazing tasting product just a smaller version on the menu. Also our ice cream cart that we use for weddings, birthday parties, school functions, corporate events, you name it and we can set up!

We specialize in fresh-popped kettle corn and love bringing a fun, nostalgic treat to festivals, community events, and special occasions. At Sugarfest, we’ll be popping our three signature flavors — Traditional Kettle, Caramel, and Movie Theater Butter— along with a selection of specialty flavors that may make an appearance! We also offer fundraising opportunities for schools, teams, organizations, and other groups, as well as custom event favor bags that are perfect for weddings, parties, showers, corporate events, and more. We’re excited to be part of Sugarfest and can’t wait to see everyone and serve up some fresh kettle corn!
