🔷We are excited to introduce to our 2025 judge- Bradyn Lachenmeier!🔷
Bradyn originates from Tappen, North Dakota where he grew up representing the 4th generation on his family’s cattle operation. Bradyn became incredibly active in both 4-H and FFA, capping off his Jr Judging career as the 2nd High Individual at the National Western in Denver, Colorado. After high school, Bradyn chose to further his education and judging career at Lakeland College before transferring to South Dakota State University. There he was a pivotal member of their 2023 livestock judging team helping secure top 5 finishes at Denver, Aksarben, The Mid-American, World Beef, and various other contests. In 2024, Bradyn received his degree in human biology and is now enrolled at UND School of Law where he will work to obtain his JD Degree. He and his brother Dylan, have competitively shown sheep, cattle, and goats at all levels during their Jr. Careers and now own and operate Lachenmeier Livestock alongside the family’s commercial cattle operation, capitalizing on heifer development, cattle backgrounding, and cow-calf enterprises. The family runs approximately 100 head of cattle and 80 head of club lambs, implementing extensive AI and Embryo Transfer work, and market prospects to exhibitors nationwide through various shows and online sales.
