Each year in October this popular volunteer-run event hosts live music on front porches and park stages around downtown Apalachicola. a free event, will be held annually in Downtown Apalachicola. Each year the porches and artists will evolve. It's a small, volunteer run festival where front porches become stages, yards become venues, and good will rules the day. We begin and end the event this year at Lafayette Park along the Bayfront in Apalachicola. What: Porch Fest Apalach
When: Saturday, October 10, 2026
11 a.m. - 6 p.m. Begins and ends at Battery Park

The 1st Porch Fest was held on November 7, 2020. The 2nd Porch Fest Apalach – October 2, 2021

Two Guys with Guitars. 2026 PORCHFEST PERFORMER ANNOUNCEMENT!
“Wiggle Room” has been called “A Dangerously Spicy duo who are not afraid to mix it up!”
The band features singer songwriter Lawrence (Eugene) Bertoldi on guitar & vocals and Miss Irene (The Ruckus) on the bass guitar. They have been playing their own original brand of Alternative-Folk-Rock along the north gulf coast of Florida and beyond since 2020. Wiggle Room's music is a blend of folk, rock and blues that is occasionally influenced by British & American punk & hardcore. The music, while very much their own, holds a familiarity to anyone that grew up listening to the music of artists from Dale Hawkins, Buddy Holly and Bo Diddley to Tom Petty, Tom Waits, Alice Cooper and even The Clash. Their original songs tell the tales of lives lived, both real and imagined, of lost love and losing sleep! They are about guitar-slinger dreams and a gunslinger's demise! From the rockabilly sound of "90 Mile-n-Hour Girl” to the slightly Clash inspired "Time To Kill" and the roadhouse blues of “Blue Tattoo” these are songs created to tell stories in a language you can immediately recognize and understand.
They are Very Excited to have Mick Barlament from Hot Mess joining them on guitar along with Hot Mess’s “Rockin Sondra” Furbee Taylor on accordion for this Apalachicola Porch Fest show.

2026 PORCHFEST PERFORMER ANNOUNCEMENT!
Ukulilies (originally The Apalachicola Ukulele Orchestra & Singers) first formed in the fall of 2019 as a group of like-minded folks with the singular agenda of fun and fellowship through music.

The premise was simple: meet up; include everyone; bring songs to the table; make music; spread joy; feel good! It worked! The word spread, the group grew and now includes over a dozen “regulars” who gather every Tuesday to connect and play.

It works so well that we’ve been invited to share our music and good vibes at upcoming concert appearances in and around the community. We play and sing tunes you know and love and can’t wait to hear you singing along, too. Come see us at Porch Fest Apalach 2026!

The VonWamps (featuring Leslie Smith)- Guitar wizard Daniel Foster and bassist Lynn Wamp have been performing together since 2014 at venues and festivals across the Southeast including the Florida Seafood Festival, previous Apalach Porchfests, Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival, the 3 Sisters Festival and many more. They cross genres and generations with the grooves and rhythms of folk, jazz, rock, swing, country and original songs, and with the dynamic Leslie Smith on drums, it's hot licks and cool sticks! They are excited to be back at Apalach Porchfest this year!

2026 PORCHFEST PERFORMER ANNOUNCEMENT!

The Funky 'Taters band from Tallahassee, Florida, plays jazz, blues, funk, rock, country folk, and reggae, a mix that has been called the "Music of the Gulf Coast Highway," which runs from the East coast of Florida, through New Orleans, all the way to Texas. Always a huge hit at Porch Fest Apalach, don't miss this band!
