Millcreek had a great time at Spring Spectacular I & II!
Camille Bryant & Coreografia had two standout weeks in the .90m Jr/Am division, culminating with a classic win and earning Reserve Champion in week two. Caitie Hope Rose & Lyminka SH continued on their consistent clean round streak, finishing Champion in the 1.20m Jr/Am and claiming 2nd in the classic during week one. Debbie Kirsch and Cigale Mury Murais Z put in repeated consistent and competitive rounds in the 1.0m Jr/Am division with multiple top finishes.
Mary Roskens & Limoncello took home the win in the 1.15m Jr/Am Classic during week one and finished Champion in the 1.20m Jr/Am the following week. Mary & Right This Way put in some beautiful, smooth rounds in the 1.10m and 1.20 Jr/Am divisions to start their summer show season off right.
Aubrey Allen & Farina had a fantastic week with a win in the 1.15m Jr/Am Classic, ending up Reserve Champion in the division and claimed 2nd in a thrilling Ride & Drive.
Madeline West & Sterling Teddy finished strong in their first show together, earning 2nd in the Puddle Jumper Classic, while Brianna Rogozinski & Quinthras DS got back into the show ring together with some lovely rounds in the .90m Jr/Am and 3rd place in the Ride & Drive. Carlee Kirsch & Deja Vous 22 finished Champion in the 1.0m. Betsy Levin’s HH Presley Boulevard won the $2,500 Adequan Open Welcome with Serah Vogus and was double clean in the $15K 1.30m Horseflight Jumper Classic. Serah & Viva Blue tackled a technical $35,000 John Deere Grand Prix course and the Open Welcome with solid, confident rounds to prepare them for their trip to Canada.
Not to be outdone by the jumpers...
Megan Selinger & After Midnight won both the Ariat Adult Medal and the USEF Adult Medal. Cate Meyer & Cakebread made us proud with a win in the IHJA Junior Medal and nice rounds in the 3’3 Large Junior Hunters.
Reece Allen & Playtime earned Champion in the Small/Large Pony division and finished 2nd in the Pony Classic. We can’t wait to cheer on this pair at Pony Finals!
Hannah Bilton & Captain America Z built on their partnership moving up to the Adult Hunters at only their second horse show together since May. Natali Hernandez & Skywalker made their .65m jumper debut, but also impressed by taking Reserve Champion honors in Low Children’s Hunters in week one and the Novice Child/Adult Hunters in week two.
Congrats to all our riders, horses, and entire team on a fantastic two weeks! We’re excited for a fun couple of weeks at Spruce Meadows before heading to Kentucky in July!
