Darke County Steam Threshers Association An organization dedicated to the preservation and education of agricultural history for future genera and U.S. 127 at the J & M Ranch.

Darke County Steam Threshers is located at the corner of Reed Rd. We are an organization steeped in tradition that promotes the education of many historical agricultural activities and methods. At our annual show in July we have wheat threshing, saw mill operation, both operated by steam power, as well as a teeter totter, and climbing hill for the engines. The Darke County Steam Threshers will not be having their annual reunion show in 2023.

Moving forward , the future of the organization is still unclear , but we would like to take the opportunity to thank all those who have supported our organization over the years.

Our Story

Darke County Steam Threshers is located at the corner of Reed Rd. and U.S. 127. We are an organization steeped in tradition that promotes the education of many historical agricultural activities and methods. At our annual show in July we have wheat threshing, saw mill operation, both operated by steam power, as well as a teeter totter, and climbing hill for the engines. We promote steam power, tractors, and gas engines. One could not be here without the other and all work together for the good of a greater purpose. We have several other events through out the year, we have spots available for the 127 Longest Yard sale, and also our Massacre Mill Haunted Woods. Our grounds is also available for rental.
