REMINDER: SOLD OUT! Matthew Ward's concert tomorrow, October 16th at 7pm is SOLD OUT. There will be NO tickets for sale at the door. And remember, anyone saying they have tickets to give away, to sell you or that they no longer need are frauds!

For our registered concert attendees, just a reminder that seating is general admission and doors open at 6:30 PM. Additionally, per our policy, there are no refunds now since it is less than 7 days prior to the event.

Concessions, Mr. Chipper’s fresh-baked cookies and merchandise will be available for sale during the concert.

The Music Factory is located on the 2nd floor of the WWI era Old Milk Factory on the Rum River in Anoka. It is not a wheelchair accessible building and there are some stairs to climb.

Although it's still not until December, we're so excited for Grammy award winning vocalist, Kimberly Brown to come back to the Music Factory for the 6th year with her exciting Christmas show on December 5th!

And it's always a good idea to order tickets in advance for this packed out show!

Home for the Holidays with Kimberly Brown is an annual holiday concert featuring the unique vocals of Kimberly Brown, and her full holiday band. Kimberly spent 15 years with the Grammy Award Winning Sounds of Blackness, and is bringing her music to Anoka, MN this December. Come and celebrate the season and encounter the Kimberly Brown Experience! This is a Gospel-influenced concert, so get ready to clap your hands and stomp your feet. You will hear many genres of holiday music, as well as some holiday classics. Bring your friends and family and make it a night to remember! SPREAD THE WORD: Our concert season is in full swing and the rest of our fall-holiday season lineup is on fire!

A great thing about Music Factory concerts, is that in light of other concerts in other venues, our tickets are more affordable! It's almost routine now to pay $50 to $75 and more for a concert ticket in other venues. We do all we can to keep ticket prices affordable - even though we have to pay 10% of our ticket income to royalty collection agencies for all of our concerts - as well as sales tax on those sales. We absorb those costs as well as the financial risks of booking concerts that can almost never guarantee what the turnout will be.

So many people still don't know about the Music Factory. We see a lot of first-time attendees at every event and we often hear that they'd never heard of this place before that event.

You can simply share on social media and click the "Share Now" button on our posts and help us spread the word. We think that if a good chunk of you would do that, we could really see this place filled up for almost every event. And if you haven't done so yet, go to our Facebook "Heart of the City Music Factory" page and follow us. That way you'll be able to see all the ads and links we produce for upcoming events.

Lenny LeBlanc has been writing and creating music for over 40 years. His songwriting, singing and playing talents have graced the recordings of such artists as, Roy Orbison, Mac Davis, Hank Williams, Jr., and Amy Grant just to name a few. In 1978 he became a part of the duo “LeBlanc and Carr” where he co-wrote and recorded the Pop hit “Falling” which ultimately became one of billboards magazines all time “Top 40 Hits”.

In 1980 Lenny became a solo artist and signed a Songwriter/Recording Artist contract with Muscle Shoals Sound and MSS Capital Records. After releasing one LP, faith became an increasingly bigger focus in his life and his musical path soon followed leading to 9 LP’s and numerous Dove Award nominations. In 2002 His song “Above All” received a Dove Award for “Recorded Song of the Year”. He has continued to write inspirational songs as well as songs like the 1996 #1 Country hit “Treat Her Right” by Sawyer Brown and “Old Timer” recently recorded by Willie Nelson. In 2023 Lenny was Inducted into the Alabama Music Hall of Fame.

Just a sample of what's to come next week on October 23rd at 7pm! Nashville based singer/songwriter and recording artist Jim Cole, is performing a James Taylor tribute concert at the Music Factory and almost 1/2 way to being sold out!

Jim Cole is a Nashville based singer/songwriter and recording artist. Over the course of his career Jim has written and recorded nine albums, with many of those accompanying singles charting in the top ten. Cole’s latest, a Christmas recording entitled Unto Us, peaked at #15 on the Billboard charts. In addition to his radio presence, Jim has performed as a featured artist on numerous television specials including Nashville Now for TBS, Daryll Waltrip and Amy Grant’s Easter and Christmas Specials for DirecTV, and The Tim Janis Enchanted Evening series for PBS. Cole has also provided the music soundtrack for Joan Lunden’s DirecTV series, Hometown Heroes.

As a working musician for more than thirty-five years, Jim has traveled extensively throughout the U.S., eastern and western Europe and Asia, performing in venues as varied as The Taipei Cultural Center in Taiwan and Carnegie Hall in New York. Additionally, as an Artist-In-Residence he has taught songwriting and stage performance at various universities throughout the world.

And now, Jim Cole is pleased to return to Minneapolis/St. Paul and offer his take on the music of James Taylor. When asked to describe the impact JT’s songs have had on him personally, Jim commented, “James Taylor’s body of work from the late 1960’s to the present has provided the musical landscape not only for my generation, but for every generation since. Certainly therapeutic, often celebratory, and always communal, his gift lies in his ability to point out shared commonality, while minimizing our differences. In our currently polarized culture, in my opinion, that makes his music more relevant than ever.”
