TALK ABOUT NOSTALGIC! These flyers are throwbacks to our first open house event ever in 2018 and our second open house/open mic event!

Question for you: would anyone be interested in us hosting another open house or open house/open mic combo event in the future, with FREE snacks and beverages for sale? Would you actually show up or just end up supporting us from afar/in spirit? 😆

(*cause we can't buy and eat a bunch of snacks ourselves and get all dressed up for nothing... 😅 )

Don't delay getting early bird ticket prices for Honeytree next month, on Friday, July 10th! Tickets are $30.00 in advance and $40.00 at the door (if any are left!) Seating is general admission and doors open at 6:30 PM.

A Honeytree concert is both fun and moving, nostalgic and new. You will hear favorites like Clean Before My Lord and Rattle Me Shake Me which emerged from the heart of the Jesus Movement in the early 1970s. You will hear songs like Pioneer, Up to Something Good, and Walk with Me – signposts along her journey through life and ministry. You will enjoy her beautiful acoustic guitar artistry.

Nancy Honeytree helped pioneer what we now recognize as contemporary Christian music. Her voice carries something raw, honest and deeply personal. Nancy Honeytree’s work stands as a reminder of a movement where music wasn’t about performance, it was about testimony.

Cross-cultural singing is a passion for Nancy. She speaks Spanish and has 3 albums in Spanish and is involved daily in an online grief recovery ministry in Spanish. She also has 2 brand-new releases in the Urdu language of Pakistan.

Concessions, merch and Mr. Chipper's fresh-baked cookies will be available for sale during the concert. The Music Factory is located on the 2nd floor of a WWI-era non-handicap accessible building and there are some stairs to climb.

Hello June! The summer weather is here and this month we'll be hosting some private rentals, working on concert video production, prepping for next month's Honeytree concert on July 10th, celebrating Father's Day and more!

Here's basic definition: "Jesus music, also known as gospel beat music in the UK, primarily began when street musicians of the late 1960s and early 1970s converted to Christianity. They continued to play the same style of music they had played previously but began to write lyrics with a Christian message. This musical genre developed in parallel to the "Jesus movement."

And another definition/explanation: "Jesus Rock was a phenomenon of the early '70s, when a lot of hippies turned to Christianity and started singing about Jesus. Usually, the music was melodic mainstream pop, with hints of country-rock, folk-rock, and blues-rock. Norman Greenbaum's "Spirit in the Sky" is perhaps the best and best-known of the genre."
