We’re excited to share that the Anniston City Meeting Center is officially secured for Girlfriend Gala 2026 on Thursday, October 22, 2026.

This is a big milestone for our planning, and we’re grateful to be moving forward with such strong early momentum.

We’re also seeing encouraging movement on the sponsorship side, which makes this moment even more exciting. It’s a reminder that Girlfriend Gala 2026 is already coming together in a meaningful way.

Get ready for Pajama Jam: Own Your Night - an evening of sparkle, sisterhood, and purpose hosted by Altrusa Club of Anniston.

More details are on the way, but for now, we’re celebrating this step forward and all the great things still to come.

Today’s Girlfriend Gala 2026 Planning Retreat was a strong step forward.

With about seven Altrusans in the room and two attended virtually, we spent intentional time shaping the vision, strengthening the fundraising strategy, discussing sponsorship momentum, committee structure, event flow, and what it will take to make this year’s gala both meaningful and impactful.

The plan is coming together nicely, and the energy in the room made one thing clear:

Girlfriend Gala 2026 is going to be special!

This year’s theme is
Pajama Jam: Own Your Night💫

And while the night will be full of fun, flair, and sisterhood, the mission remains clear: fundraising first, with fun layered on top.

We’re also honored to be building in a meaningful tribute to Laura Tutor as part of this year’s event.

Now that the planning is taking shape, it’s time to keep building.

The Girlfriend Gala 2026 theme has officially been revealed…

💫 PAJAMA JAM: OWN YOUR NIGHT 💫

Join us October 22, 2026 for the ultimate grown-woman slumber party - where every table brings its own vibe.

Playful.
Luxe.
Bold glam.

From cozy slippers and onesies to satin pajama sets and glamorous robes, the Pajama Jam is all about celebrating friendship, laughter, and sisterhood in a way only the Girlfriend Gala can.

But the heart of the night remains the same.

This event is about making an impact.

Last year the Girlfriend Gala raised approximately $14,000 for our community, and this year we are aiming even higher with a $20,000 fundraising goal.

We will also be honoring the legacy of Laura, whose leadership and heart helped shape this event, through a special initiative connected to this year’s gala.

Planning is already underway, and we can’t wait to begin sharing more about:

Today we had the joy of serving at the Wesley Foundation, where we hosted a Christmas party for the residents. The turnout was wonderful, and as always, there is something special about coming together as Altrusans to serve our community.

This was our final project of 2025, and what a meaningful way to close out the year - with fellowship, service, and holiday cheer.

As we say Happy Holidays and look ahead to 2026, we do so with full hearts and big plans. The work continues, the mission grows, and yes… exciting things are already in motion - including the next Girlfriend Gala.

Thank you to every member who showed up, served with love, and made this year impactful.
