THE WORLD IS WAITING.

World ARC 2028–29 is now open for entries.

There are some sailing dreams that stay in the back of your mind for years. One day, we’ll sail around the world.

Maybe this is the year you stop saying one day.

World ARC is a 15-month, 26,000-nautical-mile journey around the world, taking you across oceans and into some of the most remote, beautiful and extraordinary places on Earth. But it is about so much more than the miles you sail.

It’s waking up somewhere you never imagined you’d reach. Meeting people whose lives are completely different from your own. Exploring islands, sharing sundowners with new friends, laughing around a table after a long passage and watching your boat disappear over the horizon as you set off for the next adventure.

And somewhere along the way, the people you started the rally with become your World ARC family. You share the highs, the challenges, the celebrations and the moments that you know you’ll still be talking about years later.

That’s why we always say World ARC is more than a circumnavigation.
It’s a chapter of your life that you’ll never forget.

If you’ve been thinking about joining us, don’t leave it until later. Planning a circumnavigation takes time, and places in the fleet are limited. The sooner you enter, the sooner the dream becomes a plan, and the sooner you can start preparing your boat, your crew and yourself for the adventure ahead.

Planning to cross the Atlantic in 2026? Now is the time to join the ARC.

With less than four months until the fleet gathers in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, preparations are well underway for the 2026 edition of the Atlantic Rally for Cruisers.

If you've been considering joining the world's most established transatlantic rally, don't leave your entry too late. From 1 August, a late entry surcharge will apply, so now is the ideal time to secure your place and begin preparing alongside the rest of the fleet.

Whether you're sailing as a couple, with family or friends, the ARC offers far more than a route across the Atlantic. Participants benefit from expert seminars, safety inspections, shoreside events, technical support and, perhaps most importantly, an incredible community of like-minded sailors who share the adventure from start to finish.

Every year, lifelong friendships are formed before the start line is even crossed.

Join the 2026 fleet, start planning your Atlantic crossing with confidence, and become part of a sailing event that has inspired thousands of sailors over the past 40 years.

⏰ Enter before 1 August to avoid the late entry surcharge.

After a long passage, that first drink ashore always seems to hit a little differently. 🍻🌊

Maybe it’s a cold b**r at the marina bar. Fresh coffee after a night landfall. A dark rum shared in the cockpit. Or something local you’ve been thinking about since the last waypoint.

Whatever it is, it usually tastes like relief, accomplishment, and the start of a good story.

What’s your traditional landfall drink after a passage?

Ocean sailing starts long before you leave the dock.

The sailors who feel the most prepared usually aren’t the ones with the most gear. They’re the ones who ask questions early, stay organized, and lean on the experience of people who’ve done it before.

A good checklist keeps small things from becoming big problems offshore, and good advice can save you time, money, and a lot of unnecessary stress along the way. That’s one of the biggest advantages of rally sailing. You’re never figuring it all out alone.

From rally handbooks and monthly prep updates to experienced crews who’ve already crossed oceans, there’s a community ready to help you prepare with confidence.

The horizon feels a lot closer once you have a plan. ⛵️
