Raise your hand if you finished your taxes?!? I’m going to give a shout out to 2 things that got me to the finish line - HoneyBook and (in no particular order). It’s no surprise though - because runs on both on a daily basis. We’ve used just about every studio business or client management software you can name and while admittedly we were slow HoneyBook adopters (frankly it seemed to good to be true) we jumped in with both feet in the early fall and haven’t looked back. At this point I can’t imagine functioning without it. So much so that not only does the Lightbox run on , portrait studio does now too! And this sounds silly, but it has a pretty platform and doesn’t feel all task managerish) Kristen and I laugh about “before” HB in the same way that we do about life before gmail, google calendar and when we had flip phones. It’s cold outside, but warm in here because we have Kim Hovell ‘s beach vibe going at full speed. Olivia Reed spent a morning staging and photographing pieces for Kim’s site and it was all we could do not to sneak a few out the back door during their ☕️ break! These gorgeous works of art have us dreaming of bay breezes, not the polar vortex that we’ve currently got going on! Annapolis Arts District
