The Puffing BIlly tournament is back, with Conductor Pierre LeBoeuf once again running the show. The Puffing Billy tournament format is owned by the Train Gamers Association and has a structure similar to the EQ Wild Card tournament.
You can play a variety of train games, and score points based on complexity/length. Stop by and talk to Pierre to get into a game.

We will again have some space available for folks who would like to try out some popular RPGs. Nikki Brown will lead a group of GMs who will offer beginner sessions of Pathfinder 2e and Starfinder 2e. These sessions will be spread across Friday-Sunday so be sure to check the schedule to see which times might work for you. You can sign up at the Front Desk, although we will accommodate walk ups if space is available.
In addition, Joe Minuti will lead a session of the Cosmere RPG on Thursday evening. You can also sign up for this session at the Front Desk, and walk ups will be accommodated if possible.

We have partnered with undergraduate students from the Johns Hopkins Digital/Social Media Marketing class to offer a demo of The Pickleball Dice Game. The class is conducting market research and will leverage insights around product, promotion, pricing, and distribution preferences as they develop a marketing plan for the game. Their recommendations, including a marketing budget, will be presented to the game’s creator at the end of the semester! This fun fast-paced pickleball-themed dice game is perfect for a game night with family and friends or post-match hangouts. We'll have a copy of the game available in our Play to Win area and it can be purchased on Amazon.

Our Team tournament returns in 2025. To enter, submit your team consisting of 3 players. Each team member counts their best finish in any one event and the highest total wins! You can post teams here in advance. Or you can submit them on site, but all teams must be registered by 6pm Thursday.

We've added one more Game Designer! Bruce Glassco (of Fantasy Realms fame) will bring Octoberland - a new game where you are assembling a tableau of tiles that work together to make a picture of an October scene. Your board might end up depicting the peaceful fields of a harvested farm, a walk in the forest through crunchy leaves, or a spooky haunted house with ghosts and witches. Bruce will run a Learn & Play game on Friday at 8:00pm.

A big shout out to Justin Moul and the Train Gamers Association (TGA). Our regular GM for Ticket to Ride is not able to make it out to EuroQuest this year, so Justin has stepped in to run our TTR 1910 Mega tournament.

Kadon Games joins us again as a small vendor at EuroQuest. They make “original gamepuzzles”, including abstract strategy games and solitaires. They will be open during all hours of the convention, so be sure to stop by and check out their unique line of puzzles and games.

Exciting News! We are ready to announce the final game in the Wild Card lineup! The "Hot New Essen game" will be Popcorn.

In Popcorn, each player manages their own movie theater and tries to show the best combination of movies in order to attract guests to their seats.
John Weber will host a Learn & Play game of Popcorn on Friday Nov 7 at 7:30 pm.
