2026 Annapolis Frogman Swim is in the books. The swim that almost wasn’t due to weather conditions: Rain, wind, chop, and current. Air temp 47, water temp 57/58. The course was shortened for safety reasons. But we got it done to honor fallen Navy SEALs and their families who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. 13 Gold Star Families were in attendance. Over $250,000 has been raised for the Navy SEAL Foundation so far (donation site still open for the next couple of weeks!).
Thank you to event coordinators Dave Priddy and Chris Swensen for all of their hard work and dedication to make this event a success. The Annapolis Frogman Swim would not be possible without our swimmers, kayakers, incredible volunteers, safety crew (including local EMS, Coast Guard, Dive boats, jet skiers, and safety boats), donors, and most of all our team of Midshipmen/women. Not only did they swim or kayak, they were essential for set up/take down of the event site. Thank you all.

A beautiful morning for a Team ABC and Team AJL training swim. Only a few days before Sunday’s Annapolis Frogman Swim. Water temperature this morning was 54! 🥶
Hopefully warmer weather today and tomorrow will help with that! 🤞

Training swims yesterday and today on the Annapolis Frogman course. 2 weeks before the event, water temp 54 degrees. Warmer weather expected this week!

Less than 3 weeks until the Annapolis Frogman Swim. On Saturday, Kara and I swam 2 miles on the course, average water temperature 52 degrees. Cold front this week then hopefully we’ll start warming up!?!

Team ABC officially started training for the Annapolis Frogman Swim on Sunday. Water temperature in the South River 43-44 degrees! 🥶 We lasted 16 minutes and just over 500 yds. Less than 5 weeks til the swim.
Bring on the warm weather please!

MSIB - CHARLESTON TRIDENT SWIM

CHARLESTON, SC

The Charleston Trident Swim will take place on Sunday, November 16, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

The 4.1 mile swim will begin at the Charleston Maritime Center, proceed around the Battery and conclude at Brittlebank Park pier and dock.

All vessel traffic is advised to transit with caution in the vicinity of the event.

Concerned vessel traffic can contact the official event patrol via VHF-FM Channel 16.
