The 12th annual Dart For Art - The Ann Arbor Mile presented by is back and better than ever for 2026! Ready to hit the ground running?

Lace-up your shoes and join the excitement of Dart for Art, an all-inclusive one-mile run/walk from State St. to Liberty St in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor. Whether you’re a top runner competing for prizes or a family just looking for some fun, this course has something for everyone.

The race starts Tuesday, July 14th at 5pm. Registration is OPEN NOW at DartForArt.org and continues until race day.

Your participation helps support the ’s FREE community arts programs like Youth Art Fair, NANA, Art Activity Zone, Art Demo Zone. Plus Dart for Art has raised $100,000 to support our Original Art Packs full of supplies for AAPS high school art students!

Art changes lives. We need your help to make it possible! Volunteer with us, May 18-21, 2026 to assemble Original Art Packs! 💪 One day or all three, every bit helps local art students!

The Original Art Pack is a new, year-long art supply drive and donation program that supports Ann Arbor Public High School art students by providing a backpack of high quality supplies to 1300 high school art students.

The supplies were chosen and based on AAPS curriculum, and allows equitable access to tools and mentorship to help students be part of the Youth Art Fair! Come see our Youth Artists at the this year - July 16-18, 2026.
