The Ann Arbor Police Department would like to wish everyone a happy and safe Fourth of July weekend.

Firefighter Spray Park: Maynard Street between East Liberty and East William Streets will be closed from 10am-noon.

From 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., the following streets will be closed for the Ann Arbor Jaycees Fourth of July Parade:
• South State Street, South University Avenue to East Liberty Street
• East Liberty Street, South State Street to South Fifth Avenue
• South Fifth Avenue, East Liberty Street to East William Street
• East William Street, South Fifth Avenue to South State Street
• Maynard Street, East Jefferson Street to East Liberty Street
• Thompson Street, East William Street to East Liberty Street

From 5 to 10 a.m., the following streets will be closed for the Firecracker 5K:
• South State Street, South University Avenue to East Liberty Street
• South University Avenue, South State Street to Church Street
• East University Avenue, Hill Street to South University Avenue
• East Liberty Street, South State Street to South Main Street
• South Fifth Avenue, East Liberty Street to East Washington Street
