Hello Grace Ballroom family,
Emily and I wanted to reach out to you all with a very important announcement. It's a bit of a long story, but...
We are under contract & selling the building in June.
Please note: we are NOT selling the business. However, naturally, there are some changes that will take place for the time being.
Dance - We will still teach dance, and our goal is to host some dance parties as well, possibly still once per month. Temporary arrangements are being worked on and will be announced when we have further details.
Events - For the time being, we will not have a building with which to host events, so we will not be able to accommodate any events when we sell the building. Our goal is to eventually have a permanent building again- this opportunity will allow us to do that- and at that time we will begin hosting events again.
Thank you all for everything you've done to support Grace Ballroom over the years. It's been a pleasure to be a part of your lives over the years, first at 47 S Broad Street, then at 91 S Broad Street, and we look forward to continuing to be a part of your lives as we take this next step forward.
We will cease all functions at the building in early June. For our Dance Family, as a celebration of 8 years at this location, we will be hosting our final dance party at 91 S Broad Street on May 27th at 7 PM. There is no charge to attend. We are calling this celebration 'The Last Waltz...For Now'. We hope you can join us.
