Meet our Frightening 4K Community Partner, Trick or Treat in the Heat-Anchorage! 🎃 🍬

Through the Frightening 4K registration platform, you can donate to help support Trick Or Treat In The Heat. Skinny Raven Sports will match, up to $500, the total dollar amount raised for TOTITH through FFK registration.

The annual Ian Robbins Memorial Trick Or Treat In The Heat started in 2005 as an impromptu block event to allow a terminally-ill five year old to experience one last Halloween trick or treating. TOTITH has grown into a beloved memorial fundraiser supporting Hospice of Anchorage, Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington, and the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western Washington & Alaska. Thanks to the amazing community and participating neighborhoods, their 2026 event raised over $87,965+ to help sick Alaskan children and their families.

You'll find the undead on the Chester Creek and Coastal Trails tomorrow as about 800 zombies run and walk from Goose Lake to Kincaid park at the Anchorage Running Club's Zombie 1/2 Marathon. Come help SRS support Trick Or Treat In The Heat! Fun and fantastic trick-or-treat stations will greet you at each kilometer. Get your fill at the 4K, then head out and chase goodies all through downtown at the Anchorage Downtown Partnerships Trick-or-Treat Street! It kicks off right after the Frightening 4K.

Winner will be notified October 8th. Keep an eye out for a DM with next steps!

Community Highlight: Anchorage Running Club’s Zombie Half Marathon - October 10

Get your costumes ready for the Zombie Half Marathon! In-person race on October 10th starts at Goose Lake and ends at Kincaid Park. Wear your best zombie costume for this late season event on the Coastal and Chester Creek trails. Bring a run bud! ARC is introducing a new 2-person relay to this event. $200 cash prize on the line for the fastest Relay Team!

🎉 We still can't get over how much fun we had last weekend and are so thankful for our community and all of you! Together We Raised… $87,965 (and still counting!) from Trick or Treat in the Heat and Opening Night at Alaska's News Source this year!!

A huge thank you to everyone who made the 21st Annual Trick or Treat in the Heat such a success! Whether you walked, volunteered, handed out candy, or purchased tickets—you made a difference.

Donations will help Alaskan kids and their families through these organizations, in Ian Robbins' memory:
