The Husser Fire Department will be hosting a public zoning meeting for Tangipahoa Parish at our main station.

This meeting is open to the public. Tangipahoa Parish community members are encouraged to attend and stay informed on zoning matters within Tangipahoa Parish.

The gang at that location will also be set up during the Amite/Pine Grove16 Mile Spring Sale on April 4th. HEY YA’LL! We are serving catfish dinners again during the 6th Annual Fishing Rodeo! All proceeds will go towards finalizing the restoration of the community center.

As you all know, it’s been a long journey since we started our restoration on the community center back in 2019. After a slow start we were finally able to get some traction, and saw the start of remodeling begin in 2021. It’s our goal to finish up this year and host a grand reopening this fall.

Your support means everything to us and we would appreciate you joining us during the 6th Annual Husser Community Fishing Rodeo on Saturday, March 28.

Contact the board member today to get your dinner reserved for $10! Supplies are limited so get yours while you can!

🔥 Burn ban is in effect for Tangipahoa Parish. 🔥

Effective immediately, due to the extremely dry conditions and at the request of the parish’s local fire chiefs, Tangipahoa Parish President Robby Miller has issued a parish-wide burn ban.

The burn ban goes into effect immediately and will remain in place until rescinded. Miller said the ban includes all open residential and commercial burning. The ban does not include bar-b-que pits, grills, or fire pits; however, the parish president asks that citizens “use extreme caution” if they do so.
