Wednesday's Chemical Engineering for the Common Good was all about rethinking what we throw away. ♻️💡

Guests learned about the hidden life of “unrecyclable” multilayer plastics, like chip bags, and heard how senior University of Massachusetts Amherst Chemical Engineering students are designing innovative re/upcycling processes to turn that waste into valuable products.

Last Wednesday's HeART Work explored how art and music can support mental, physical, and social wellbeing. 🎨🎶

Guests enjoyed live performances from talented students of the UMass Songwriting & Production Club, helping create a welcoming and creative atmosphere for the evening.

Participants then joined UMass Creative Arts Therapist Cathe Bruso, LMHC, in co-creating a community arts mural.

The Edwin C. Gentzler Translation Center invites graduate students and faculty to submit proposals to lead individual sessions of the Translated Book Club, which promotes the reading of translated literature into English and recognizes and supports translators.

The third installment of the MASSive Desk Spring Concert Series went OFF. 🔥🎤 In partnership with UMass Songwriting and Production Club, we brought out four incredible artists, Voidgirl, Juliana, Jarou, and Cheez, and they did NOT disappoint. Hip hop, good energy, and pure talent all in one room. The vibes were unmatched. 🙌💥
