The Alonzo Weed Festival Celebrating Amesville, Ohio’s most famous Mayor Alonzo Weed, who was a hobo passing through town that became the Mayor of Amesville for a brief time in 1903.

His short tenure as mayor was colorful and gained national attention.

Its back! The Alonzo W**d Festival in Amesville. Celebrating the historic mayor, Alonzo W**d, from 1903 the festival features live music by the Ames/Bern Ridge Rounders, food by Park's Place, beverages by Jackie O's, kids activities, crafts and more.
